On Bridgette's 3rd Birthday, the kids had "birthday pancakes" for breakfast and Bridgette blew out candles on her pancake for the first time that day. She was so excited it was her birthday
and she kept saying, "Can we do my birthday now?"
and she kept saying, "Can we do my birthday now?"
Later that day we sang "Happy Birthday" to her while she blew out the candles for the second time that day on her "Dora the Explorer" cake.
She opened a couple presents that she had personally picked out from that previous morning at Wal-mart. Not much of a surprise, but she was excited to open them up and play with them.
On Sunday, we spent the evening celebrating Grandpa's and Bridgette's birthdays together in Fullerton. Grandma made delicious carrot cake cupcakes and angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream. Bridgette loved Grandma's cupcakes, well, at least the frosting. That's all she did, was lick off the frosting. We were spoiled with a delicious dinner, birthday treats, and great company. Aunt Allison was there, too, and spoiled Bridgette with some cute presents. We all love getting together with family and we cherish the time we have together while we live close to each other.
